Coffee was first introduced to Louisiana by French explorers in 1718. Since that time, coffee has had a major influence on the culture and traditions of New Orleans. By 1805, Pirate King Jean Lafitte was smuggling the finest coffee beans from all parts of the Caribbean for the citizens of New Orleans to savor & enjoy!
